Welcome to The Belly Rules! I’m so glad you’ve decided to stop by. Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I grew up in a town just north of Boston, Mass. It was there that my Mom taught me how to cook. As I got older it became a passion of mine. I’m always looking for new recipes and cookbooks. My first husband was from Texas and this is where I ended up. It’s a whole different way of cooking! Most Texans like their food rather spicy. In New England, the food is a tad bland. So, I’ve learned different styles of cooking. It’s so much fun to try different things! My hubby now, is more than happy to try all my new creations.
Several years ago I was diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis). This has made it difficult for me to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I now have to pace myself. But, I sure don’t let it get me down. The MS is in remission, but it’s done it’s damage and I have to deal with that. I manage to bake and cook as often as I can. Usually, it’s not a whole lot, but I can get it done.
Hubby and I have 2 kitties who keep us laughing with their antics. I have 2 grown children – a girl and a boy. They have given us 7 grandchildren – 2 boys and 5 girls. And now, we have 6 great-grandchildren. So far, we have 4 girls and 2 boys. So, there you have it. A short biography and some information about myself and my family.
Thank you for coming. I hope you come back often as I will be adding more recipes as often as I can.
